CEG Resources Divisional Structure
Here again are the main divisions we have in CEG Resources. From the structure you reviewed earlier you are aware that each division has its own Division Manager. If you are completing an assignment that requires you to provide a name to this position, see the list below
The Division Manager position for the new division has yet to be appointed.
The frontline managers for each work team will make themselves known to you as the need arises. You may be called in to take on one of these positions on occasion.
During the course of your internship, you may be asked (based on your current physical location) to meet in the real world with others in the course. In particular you will be invited to participate in at least one meeting / negotiation and whenever an intern is to present their major project to the management team. In this situation, you will be briefed further on what 'role' you may be expected to take. For the most part, your role will be to represent a divisional work team as a frontline manager at the presentation and evaluate another's major project. In turn, others will be invited to your presentation and evaluate your project.
If you are invited to attend a meeting, you may be asked to 'play' a specific part, say adopt a specific manner or position on the meetings discussion and outcome. Again, if this occurs, you will be briefed in detail by your trainer. At all times in this situation, it is important to remember you , and others, are playing a role to measure and assess a person required to demonstrate their leadership and management skills in dealing with the specific 'situation'. A debrief will always follow the end of such sessions to ensure harmony and cohesion exist before ending the session.
